A Notice to Connecticut Producers from:

Due to recent changes in Connecticut law, we are carefully evaluating our current business processes and potential changes needed to meet the state's new requirements. We will not issue new Short Term Medical or Student Select policies in Connecticut with effective dates on or after October 1, 2007. Policies with effective dates prior to October 1, 2007, will not be affected. Additional communication will be forthcoming following our assessment period. This notice does not affect Assurant Health's Individual Medical policies or other Assurant products.
